To my culinary/foodie friends; HELP!

My tomatoes came in late this year - so I have a couple of pounds of fairly small tomatoes, but not quite enough to do anything with, all more-or-less ripe... right this very instant!

Ideas?

Saute some chicken, with garlic, celery, mushrooms and onion (I know you don't like onion, green onions or leeks are ok)

Chunk up the tomatos, toss them in.

Add some cream, bring to heat.

Toss in some cooked pasta.

Yum!

I'm not fond of anything in the onion family...

But I do have some extra mushrooms (left over from earlier in the week, bought too much), and possibly some chicken stock (which I have much of). I'm thinking rosemary and tarragon with a touch of savoury?

Serve over penne with a nice salad, and I have a bottle or two of a nice white or rose floating around...

Yum!

its probably too late, but oven dried tomatoes are as good as sun dried and very handy.
