Summer had all the makings of a bad date: A late arrival, an abrupt end and little that could be described as sultry. Perhaps Tuesday's sunny, mid-60s afternoon was a polite farewell embrace from summer, which officially ends around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Though I think yesterday and today feel decidedly more like Fall than Summer, as there's been a decided chill in the air. Today was the first morning I got up and put on a sweatshirt rather than a t shirt...

A little fall would be nice. We broke a record high today and it's still 93 here at 7:00pm. On the bright side it is suppose to be one of those super harvest moons, so we should have a cool glow-ey twilight.
