Simple day

derekl_1963Today was one of those days in the Pacific Northwest we really don't talk about too much to furriners... Pleasantly warm and sunny, not at all like the stereotypes. A cynic however would say today was comp time from Mother Nature for February.
Topping it all off, had a friend over for dinner - took a dip in the pool, talked a little literature, a little politics, and little art.
Not too promising a first entry, but a damn fine day anyhow.
