Garage rebuild - April/May

I am massively late in getting this out, but what's the surprise there?

Sometime in April/May I'd like to get a bunch of guys together and put the walls up in the garage. The only sticking point is the ceiling, if I have to rent a jack that will have to be done all in one day. Otherwise it can be worked on whenever I can get together with one or two others. I'm waiting for a reply back on buying a cheap used jack off of CL.

Unless you are also doing the ceiling, I doubt you will need a jack.... Actually I can't picture how to use a jack to raise a wall panel anyway.

Just insulate under them first, trust me...

Yes, I'm also doing the ceiling - it's just open trusses right now... kinda hard to heat which is main purpose.. :)

Ceiling is going to be 1/2 drywall in 4x8 sheets?

Ceiling is currently planned to be all OSB or plywood, whichever is cheaper when I get the bids.

OSB is always cheaper then plywood (roughly $7.50 vrs $12.50).

BUT
Drywall is cheaper yet $6.50

But - drywall requires mudding and taping.. :) And OSB can be screwed directly into.
