Windstorm

I don't remember ever having a windstorm of that magnitude in June before...

My ladies (my angelfish) seem to have pretty much recovered. Their color is back to normal and their have left their 'sulking corner' and have resumed patrolling the tank. OTOH, when I reached in this morning to adjust the heater, they nipped at my arm - something they have never done before.

In the morning light my tomatoes look even worse than they did last night. They've taken an awful beating and one plant had a stem torn off entirely.

As I swore yesterday, I have a call into Ahearn Electric to get a consultation on getting a generator installed. Anyone have any idea who else I might try? (This is when I really miss Dad, he knew all this stuff and who to call.)

Other then the listings in the phone-book, the only other place I can think of is "Small Engine Clinic" in Silverdale. Although I don't know if they sell/install home-backup generators

I'll check, but my guess is that they won't do natural gas powered generators. The current plan, subject to vetting by da experts, is to use natural gas tapped from the house supply.

Won't have to worry about gas cans, or old gas, or any of that.
