Eighteen years ago today... It seems so long, but sometimes it seems so fast.

Eighteen years ago today a certain young lady stood by my side and promised to be my wife, "to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part". We've had times good and bad, easy and hard... Through it all, she has stood by my side and put up with me and my foibles. Those of you who know me well know how hard it can be to have me as a friend, imagine having to live with me! (We can do without enumeration of the difficulties in the comments, k?)

Thank you. Thank you for being my wife, my best friend, my partner, and oh so much more than words can describe. I am continually amazed that you chose me as your partner in life. As the authorities don't look too kindly on lunatics shouting from high places, a Live Journal entry will have to do.

Now and forever and from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
