June Faire
Jun. 3rd, 2008 08:10 amOnce again we survive another June Faire...
Setup on Thursday was mildly amusing - as it was not until we arrived on site and the town finally mowed the grass, that we found the location slated for the Culinary Guild was extremely rough and soft. Not Good to be playing with fire on. Alis took charge and redid the A&S area on the fly - which came out well despite losing a goodly chunk of land on an already overcrowded site.
The event itself went well for us (the Culinary Guild) - as despite being even further back in the corner than ever before, we had more mundane visitors than ever before. Asking about, this seems to be because the limited space about the erics meant people were less inclined to stay there and more inclined to wander about the site. Being kinda on the path leading around Merchant's Row didn't hurt either.
I actually took my camera with me this time, and actually took some pictures, though fewer than I intended. Not as many came out well as I'd have hoped - much more practice is needed.
