![Artisanal Hands VII - Teaching (Monochrome) [Artisanal Hands Project]](https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7222/6896001580_492f232ac9.jpg)
As with yesterday's picture, a different look at artisanal hands at work.
Here, Eleanor is teaching Arilyn to twist wool as it spins into thread. As the wool changes form, so does the artist. From creator to inspiration and teacher, passing down her skills and passion to the next generation. No artisan stands alone, we're all part of an endless chain. First standing on the shoulders of giants to peer into an undiscovered country, and then taking another by the hand to lead them there.
And also, as with yesterday's picture, more problems with the evil light. Eleanor's hands are in sunlight, while Arilyn's are lit by fluorescent. My editing skills aren't quite up to fixing this, so I tried for a middle ground... Converting it to monochrome fixed that problem and also highlighted the contrast in the hands - Eleanor's experienced ones against Arilyn's youthful ones.
