Artisanal Hands VI - Closing the circle [Artisanal Hands Project]

Over the weekend, I had the chance to shoot more for my Artisanal Hands project...

The model here is Tammie, who makes and sells historical costumes at The Renaissance Tailor. (And who is also known as mrq_laurellen here on LJ.)

This is a little bit different than most of the shots in the project so far, because it's not a close up of the hands. This caught my eye because it places the hands more in context with the work they're doing, something I'll have to keep in mind for the future.

This was not the most 'fun' time I ever had while shooting. There were plenty of interesting subjects, but the light was evil incarnate - being a mix of sunlight and several different types of fluorescents. And *then* I put my own head in a noose by shooting in manual (which I'm not that experienced with) because I was unhappy with the camera's choices in Av mode.
