Yesterday, I was watching a lady spin wool into yarn - and the patterns in the wool in her basket caught my eye. The light was absolutely horrid (a mix of three different kinds of fluorescent light plus sunlight), resulting in an evil color cast... This monochrome conversion not only got rid of the color cast, it really brings out the textures and patterns of the wool.
