Oooh Shiny

derekl_1963Those who know me well, know I've long been proud of my phone that is "just a phone". Well, I've finally been seduced over to the Dark Side.
What with one thing and another, Saturday we ended up at the mall - and walked past the AT&T booth (who happens to be our cellular provider). Just to the pass the time, Brenda and I were looking at the phones since we just became eligible for 'free' upgrades. ('Free' in the sense that 'the phone costs nothing if you extend your contract'.)
Well, one thing lead to another and I discovered that some awfully neat phones could be had cheaply after the upgrade voucher and rebates were applied.
A couple of signatures and $20 later, this followed me home:

I plead "not guilty" by reason of "oooooh shiny".
