Why yes, Homemade Christmas cookies and a big cup of fresh coffee does constitute a perfectly good breakfast. If "made with love" doesn't constitute a big part of the food pyramid, it should.

Oh, and the_thread_lady - if that is your first time baking shortbread, I shudder to think of what it will be like when you get experienced at it.... Men have gone to war to get their hands on much lesser things.
