Can you spend too much time thinking about photography?

Last night my wallet went through the laundry by accident... This morning I found that it was still damp deep down in the pockets, and decided to use some cutlery to spread them open for air circulation. No sooner had I done so, than I started thinking about the patterns of light, shadow, and reflections created... So I grabbed my camera and spent forty five minutes taking shots using various combinations of flash and the kitchen and dining room lights...





Can you spend too much time thinking about photography?
