On the Elwha River

Starting on the pics from the second day of our vacation (Saturday) - and boy was it a long one! From the RV park east of Sequim, all the way to Neah Bay along 101, and then back via 112 on the coast. We'd intended to eat all of our meals at 'home', but ended up eating out coming through Port Angeles because we were starving. (The restaurant proudly advertised 'family dining since 1959', and it didn't look like their menu or decor had been much updated since then...)

Here's the view they had. (More or less, I'm up at the road and had little inclination to scramble down the steep ass slope to where they were.)



We did find a little trail that took us down to river level a little more gently where I captured this shot.
