A glorious day today, classical Pacific Northwest summer, pretty sunny with just enough clouds to make the sky wonderful. Let's celebrate summer shall we?

First up: Walter Egan (better known for Magnet and Steel with his version of Hot Summer Nights:

Sorry about the quality, but when one links to others content, one takes what one can get. In passing I note that I much prefer Knight's version of this song, but could not a copy on the web. This song is also linked in my mind with John Stewart's Music Into Gold, but that one too isn't to be found.

70's cheesy musicals done web style! Back when I was in high school, I could never have imagined anyone would ever do a video of Summer Nights from the musical Grease... with stop motion Lego animation:

Sometimes the creativity you can find on the net makes you gape in awe... Other times, it makes you want to drink yourself into oblivion in order to burn out a vision of horror (link safe for work and the humor impaired) burned into your brain. (Blame Ellen (the_thread_lady) for that one!)
