Just a quiet cup of coffee before the annual madness that is June Faire starts...

Here in a few minutes I've got to go shower, finish loading the van, and head off for the first of four very long days. Today and tomorrow setting up, then the Faire itself on the weekend. The Faire is so much fun once it starts, but lordy do I dread it before it starts. (With so many early mornings in a row and me not being a morning person and all.)

Hopefully the weather will stay dry as the new site hasn't the best ground cover in the world. It was largely scrub forest and brush until a few months ago and it will take a year or two for grass to come fully in thick enough to ensure minimal mud.

Adding to the tension is that I am more or less in charge of the Culinary demo (to the extent that any one person can be in charge of this herd o' cats). So I've got the "did I remember everything" jitters. (I'm pretty sure I have, but there's always something...)
