Yes, I know my LJ has become something of an photoblog again, but so it goes. After all the busy in August, life has been pretty laid back and quiet for September.

As the M/V Tacoma sets off in the morning on another commuter run to Bainbridge Island... NCL's Norwegian Jewel is busy getting ready to carry it's passengers off on a distant vacation.

Just shy of three years before taking this picture, I was standing on the Norwegian Pearl looking in the opposite direction... :)

Two Seattle icons, the old established one and the hopeful young pretender. (It's actually called the Seattle Great Wheel - but I couldn't resist the "pun" anyhow.)

And yes, the top of the Needle is actually that awful pumpkin color... Its called Galaxy Gold, and it's the original (World's Fair) era color.
