Saturday, the photoclub held a workshop down in Belfair. I had an interesting time working with some of the setups they provided and with a couple of models the club hired for the day. The most fun however, was photographing the other photographers as they concentrated on their work. The second most fun was when one of the member's daughters showed up with here fourteen month old daughter - who promptly got 'volunteered' to be a model. :) Despite having something like ten photographers concentrating on her, she was quite even tempered about the whole deal even if she didn't particularly want to laugh or wave or otherwise be photogenic.
Sunday, we went up to Laurie's (Brenna for you SCA folk) and made paper in her shop. Quite interesting, and somewhat disheartening to learn just how many different ways we screwed it up when Brenda and I tried making paper years and years ago. Afterwards, lunch at a little pub in Winslow (or at least what used to be Winslow). Beer, good, food, meh, companionship, excellent... and then back to her place to hang out for a bit.
