Sooner rather than later...

Well... It looks like we're going to have to replace the minvan sooner rather than later. Went in to have it's oil changed yesterday and they found the upper coolant hose has an incipient split, so it's off to have that fixed today. It's also leaking oil, having problems with the window motors and other transient electrical problems, etc... The minor problems are really starting to add up to real headaches, and with 130k miles on it... it's only a matter of time before something in the engine or major electrical goes south. The transmission is new(ish) and only had 40k odd on it, which means it too is due for major service soon.

The sucky part is that the original Voyager/Caravan is no longer in production. This one is our second, and both have given long and reliable service - but any originals still around have higher mileage than I'm willing to pay for in a used car.
