After leaving fighter practice last night I caught sight of the moon and the clouds, and headed over to the Silverdale Waterfront Park to see what photographic opportunities there might be.  (Yeah, I'm a geek - I've been steadily memorizing where in the county has a clear and unimpeded views of various compass directions...)

Among other shots (currently in the hopper to be processed/posted later) I took was one matching two previous shots:

Dyes Inlet 07/20/2010

(The previous shots can be seen here and here.)

I'm still pondering over which road might have been the better one to take here - matching the previous photos or concentrating on taking the best shot possible at that particular moment? This one didn't end up as well as it might have because matching the previous vantage point ended up with a picture that's not really composed all that well. (Not that you have a whole hell of a lot of choices when standing on the end of a dock...) On the flip side, consistent framing and vantage points lend a better air when the series is viewed as a whole.

What are your thoughts?
